	Dullstroom Nature Reserve

Dullstroom Nature Reserve is set in the quiet, friendly, peaceful and extremely scenic surroundings of Dullstroom in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. Close to the Crocodile River and the magnificent meandering Steenkamp's Berg Valley.

The accommodation facilities comprises of Self Catering Accommodation, alternatively take advantage of our Camping & Caravan facilities where we welcome tents, trailer tents, motor caravans and caravans.

The Dams at the Dullstroom Nature Reserve is best known for its trout fishing, but the reserve also offers fantastic hikes through the unusual vegetation. The Reserve also protects a large range of indigenous flowering plants and a small wetland

Dullstroom Nature Reserve is simply the perfect place to stay, relax, unwind and enjoy the natural beauty and the wildlife of the area. You may wish to explore the beautiful shops and restaurants in the village which is steeped in history with activities, walks, places of interests that will interest all the family.

We are ideal for when you want to get away from it all and want to be in the middle of a beautiful natural environment overlooking the beautiful Dullstroom Dams at the foot of Groot Suikerboschkop.

Dullstroom Nature Reserve offers easy access to Pubs, Garages, Shops and amenities. It is extremely idyllic and private, and of course being in the heartland of a Nature Reserve there are plenty of walks you can take a drive through the surrounding countryside.

We are only 10 minutes drive away from the business centre of Dullstroom, with easy access to the R540 connecting to the N4
Whatever your choice you will be certain of a friendly welcome and we will do everything we can to make your stay with us memorable.

Temporary fishing licenses can purchased easily and will allow the holder to fish for brown and rainbow trout at the 2 well stocked dams and by arrangement manage by the Oaklane Home Owners Association.

The Dullstroom Nature Reserve is under management of the Emakhazeni Development Trust

The accommodation consist of 6 one bedroom, self-catering rustic fishermen's cottages with a double bed and sleeper couch in the living area. All units have a fully equipped open plan kitchen and a fireplace in the living area. All units are also fitted with a small under roof built-in braai.

The units are comfortably place within walking distance from the dams.

DSTV is available in all the units and for your convenience the units are daily serviced .

Not only do Dullstroom Nature Reserve offer self-catering accommodation but also a function hall overlooking Groot Suikerboskop. The hall that can comfortably accommodate approx 60 people depending of the seating arrangement.
